Fine jewellery is one of the oldest and most enduring art forms in the world — and nowhere does it run deeper than in India. From the courts of the Mughals to the modern jewellery retailer’s display counter, the Indian love for gold, diamonds, and precious stones has never wavered. What has changed is the craft. Designs have become more intricate, settings more precise, stones more exceptional. The finest jewellery today is a meeting of tradition and technology — and the standard it is held to has never been higher.
At Blue Gems and Jewels, fine jewellery is all we do. Diamond-studded gold pieces that catch the light from across the room. Gemstone jewellery in rubies, emeralds, and sapphires that carries colour with confidence. Plain gold designs that speak through their form alone. Rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, and men’s jewellery — across 14kt, 18kt, and 22kt gold, in yellow, white, and rose. We have been doing this from Mumbai since 1996. The Legacy
Blue Gems and Jewels was founded in 1996 by Shalabh Goyal, who entered the gems and jewellery industry at the age of 17 through Kantilal Chhotalal — one of Mumbai’s most respected diamond firms. Beginning in diamond assortment, he spent his formative years building hands-on expertise in stone quality, grading, trade standards, and the discipline of the craft from the ground up.
The values that shaped this business go back even further. Shalabh’s maternal grandfather, Shri Babulalji Agarwal, built Agarwal Jewellers in Bhopal into a respected name in India’s regional jewellery trade long before quality certifications became standard. His principles — integrity before everything, quality before price, and relationships built for the long term — remain the foundation of everything Blue Gems and Jewels stands for today.
In December 2021, the company was incorporated as Blue Gems and Jewels Pvt. Ltd., formalising over two decades of manufacturing heritage under a private limited structure. Today, we operate from two locations: our trade office at Bharat Diamond Bourse, BKC — India’s most recognised gems and jewellery trade address — and our manufacturing facility in Andheri East, where every piece we sell is made.

Behind Shalabh and Shweta is a team of karigars, designers, quality specialists, and operations professionals who have built their careers in fine jewellery manufacturing. Our karigar team are specialists — organised by category and technique, trained over years in their specific area of the craft.
Every person at Blue Gems and Jewels is selected for their skill and their commitment to the standard the company holds itself to. They are not a workforce. They are the reason every piece that carries the BGJ name is worth putting your name next to.

Blue Gems and Jewels manufactures in-house, certifies everything, is registered at Bharat Diamond Bourse, is a GJEPC member, is BIS hallmark registered, and is preparing for listing on BSE SME / NSE Emerge.
